A coalition of state marijuana associations is imploring Senate leaders to pass the bipartisan cannabis banking bill “without further delay,” citing violent dispensary robberies in Washington, Oregon, Michigan and Oklahoma. A report released late yesterday suggests, well, further delay.
White House officials met with the top senate Democrat from Wisconsin, where she discussed cannabis reform and the ongoing scheduling review. Senate Minority Leader Melissa Agard (D) said, “we talked about a number of things—but certainly everywhere I go, I bring up cannabis policy.” (same)
