After week one of U.S canna earnings, the second week brought home the rest of the Q2 reports. Below, we share the highlights, results and call notes from several leaders in the space for those interested in further exploring the particulars of this industry.
While there were two standouts in week one—Verano and TerrAscend both excelled in what some believe will be the fundamental trough for the companies exposed to the right markets—the big winner in week two was a company w/ exposure only to what many consider to be the single worst market, and that was Glass House Farms in Cali.
The future fate of many of these companies will depend on the ability to manage their balance sheets, which will be shaped by events that have not yet occured, such as unit demand, price levels, regulatory reform (taxes) and market conditions. Still, the ability to navigate this extremely difficult operating environment speaks volumes, in itself.
